What clients complain about

  • Trustpilot rates INFINOX 4.3 out of 5 across more than 1,100 reviews, 81% of them five-star, citing competitive spreads, a responsive support team, the IX loyalty programme and fast withdrawals.
  • The 11% one-star minority is consistent: accounts restricted and balances reduced after profitable trading, often around news releases; withdrawals delayed or cancelled without explanation; and accounts terminated after a run of winning trades.
  • Several reviewers raise the entity question directly, noting that the site presents Mauritius and FCA regulation while the client agreement names INFINOX Global Limited, an Anguilla company without a financial services licence.

Regulation and safety of funds

INFINOX has four real licences and one uncomfortable gap. INFINOX Capital Ltd is FCA-authorised in the UK (FRN 501057, company 06854853), IX Capital Group Limited is registered with the Securities Commission of The Bahamas (SIA-F188), INFINOX Capital Ltd SA is an FSCA financial services provider in South Africa (FSP 50506) and INFINOX Limited holds an Investment Dealer licence from the Mauritius FSC (GB20025832).

The gap is the international site. Its own footer states that INFINOX Global Limited, trading as INFINOX, is incorporated in Anguilla under company number A000001246 — an incorporation, not a financial licence. Anguilla does not license this kind of business, and the group's separate UAE company, Infinox Financial Consultants LLC, holds a Category 5 permission (20200000379) that covers marketing and client introduction rather than holding client money. A Cyprus company, INFINOX Services EU Limited, handles payments only. None of that makes INFINOX a scam — the FCA and FSCA arms are real and supervised — but it does mean the licence you read about on the homepage may not be the company on your contract.

Fees and spreads

Two retail accounts, both opening from a single dollar. STP is spread-only and quotes from roughly 0.9 pips on EUR/USD. ECN quotes from about 0.2 pips and adds around $6 per lot in commission, which puts all-in trading costs near $9 to $9.50 per lot — competitive rather than class-leading, and better than most brokers that accept a $1 opening balance.

Leverage is tiered by instrument and by entity: up to 1:1000 on forex and indices through the offshore arm, 50:1 on commodities, 33:1 on crypto and 10:1 on shares, while FCA-regulated UK clients are capped at 1:30. INFINOX does not publish an inactivity fee schedule prominently, so confirm the terms for your entity in writing before you open.

Platforms and tools

MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 across desktop, web and mobile, plus the in-house IX App. IX Social provides copy trading, and PAMM accounts are available for managed money — a fuller toolkit than most brokers of this size offer.

The instrument list is the real surprise: around 750 share CFDs, 49 currency pairs, 43 cryptocurrencies, 14 commodities, ten indices, seven metals, five energy products and a futures range. For a broker whose accounts open at $1, that breadth is well ahead of the norm.

Deposits and withdrawals

Funding runs through Visa and Mastercard, bank transfer, Skrill, Neteller and crypto in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Card and e-wallet deposits are usually immediate; bank transfers take the usual few days.

Most Trustpilot reviewers describe withdrawals as fast, and the loyalty programme gets positive mentions. The minority report is sharper: withdrawals delayed or cancelled without explanation, usually alongside an account restriction rather than on its own. Test a small withdrawal early so you learn how your entity behaves before size is on the line.

Customer support

Support runs 24/5 by live chat, email at [email protected] and phone, in around fifteen languages — broad cover for a broker of this size, and reviewers rate responsiveness well.

Where support is described as failing is in disputes rather than day-to-day questions. Clients who have had a balance adjusted or an account restricted report explanations that arrive slowly and in general terms, which is the pattern behind most of the one-star reviews.

Track record and reputation

INFINOX has traded since 2009 and holds a strong public score: 4.3 out of 5 on Trustpilot across more than 1,100 reviews, 81% of them five-star, praising spreads, the interface, the loyalty programme and withdrawal speed. No regulator has published a warning against the group.

The 11% one-star minority is consistent enough to matter, and it clusters on one theme: accounts restricted and balances reduced after profitable trading, often around news releases, with the regulatory question raised directly — reviewers pointing out that the site presents Mauritius and FCA regulation while the client agreement names the Anguilla company. Read both documents before you decide how much to fund.

Who is it for

INFINOX suits traders who want a very low entry point with a genuinely wide product range, copy trading and PAMM in one place, and MetaTrader rather than a proprietary terminal. A UK client onboarded to the FCA entity gets that package with real protection behind it.

It is a weaker fit for anyone trading news events or scalping aggressively, given the complaint pattern, and for anyone who wants the company on the contract to be the company in the licence. If you are outside the UK and South Africa, check which entity you are signing with before funding.

How to open an account

INFINOX

Before you apply

Documents required
Government-issued photo ID and a proof of address

Read the client agreement before funding. The international site names INFINOX Global Limited, an Anguilla company (A000001246) that holds no financial services licence, while the FCA, FSCA, Bahamas and Mauritius licences belong to other companies in the group. Which name appears on your agreement decides what protection you actually have.

  1. 1.

Open the account on the right site

INFINOX runs separate regional sites. The UK site contracts with the FCA-regulated company, the South African one with the FSCA entity, and the international site with INFINOX Global Limited in Anguilla.

  2. 2.

    Verify your identity

Upload a government-issued photo ID and a proof of address. Verification is standard and usually quick.

  3. 3.

    Choose STP or ECN

Both open from $1. STP is spread-only, from about 0.9 pips on EUR/USD. ECN quotes from about 0.2 pips and charges roughly $6 per lot, so all-in costs land near $9 to $9.50 per lot.

  4. 4.

    Fund the account

Deposit by card, bank transfer, Skrill, Neteller or crypto (Bitcoin and Ethereum).

  5. 5.

    Pick a platform

MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 on desktop, web and mobile, or the IX App. IX Social provides copy trading and PAMM accounts are available for managed money.

Good to know before you start

Why you have to verify your identity

Why you have to verify your identity

Every regulated broker and exchange must confirm who you are before you can trade or withdraw. Expect to upload a passport or national ID and a proof of address under three months old (utility bill or bank statement). Most platforms approve documents within a few hours; a mismatch between your ID and the name on your payment method is the most common reason for delays.

How funding your account works

How funding your account works

Deposits by card or e-wallet usually land within minutes; bank wires take one to three business days and may carry a fee from your bank. Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, which is an anti-money-laundering rule rather than a platform choice. Start with the minimum, confirm a small withdrawal works, then scale up.

What to expect on your first trade

What to expect on your first trade

Open a demo account first if the platform offers one, then place a small live trade on a liquid market such as EUR/USD or BTC/USD. Check the spread, the commission and the swap before you confirm. Set a stop-loss on every position — losing a small amount quickly is the cheapest lesson in trading.

Frequently asked questions

Is INFINOX regulated?

Parts of it are. INFINOX Capital Ltd is FCA-authorised (FRN 501057), IX Capital Group Limited is registered with the Securities Commission of The Bahamas (SIA-F188), INFINOX Capital Ltd SA is an FSCA provider in South Africa (FSP 50506) and INFINOX Limited holds a Mauritius FSC Investment Dealer licence (GB20025832). The international site, however, contracts through INFINOX Global Limited, an Anguilla company that holds no financial services licence.

Is INFINOX safe to trade with?

Its Trustpilot score is 4.3 across 1,100+ reviews and no regulator has warned about it, which is a better record than most brokers in its bracket. The caution is the 11% one-star minority, which reports accounts restricted and balances reduced after profitable trades, and the entity question: check whether your contract names the FCA company or the Anguilla one.

What is the minimum deposit at INFINOX?

Both the STP and ECN accounts open from $1, which is among the lowest entry points in the industry. The practical minimum is whatever your funding method requires.

What does trading actually cost at INFINOX?

On the ECN account, spreads start near 0.2 pips on EUR/USD with commission of about $6 per lot, so all-in costs land around $9 to $9.50 per lot. The STP account is spread-only and starts near 0.9 pips on EUR/USD with no commission.

Which platforms and instruments does INFINOX offer?

MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 on desktop, web and mobile, plus the IX App, IX Social for copy trading and PAMM accounts. The catalogue runs to roughly 750 share CFDs, 49 currency pairs, 43 cryptocurrencies, 14 commodities, ten indices, seven metals, five energy products and futures.

What leverage does INFINOX offer?

Up to 1:1000 on forex and indices through the offshore entity, with lower caps by asset class — around 50:1 on commodities, 33:1 on crypto and 10:1 on shares. UK clients under the FCA entity are capped at 1:30.
