  • A single, clearly stated licence: Tattvam Capital Markets Ltd under Mauritius FSC Investment Dealer licence 183299GBC, with no confusing web of sister companies to work through.
  • Full account specifications are published for all three tiers, including the stop-out level of 20% — a figure most brokers at this level leave out entirely.
  • Gold pricing is genuinely competitive: spreads from 0.1 pips with a $3.50 commission at a $2,000 minimum, which undercuts the raw-spread gates of most of its peers.
  • The swap-free account is time-limited. Silver is advertised as swap-free and the specification qualifies it as "Swap Free up to 10 days", so a longer-held position starts accruing swaps.
  • Leverage of 1:2000 is offered on every tier, including the $275 entry account, against a 20% stop-out. At that setting a fraction of a percent against the position closes it.
  • The Trustpilot record is six reviews: 50% five star and 50% one star. Among the complaints is a trader who says a strategy was approved and then scalping prohibited, and another questioning the UAE licensing.

What clients complain about

  • Trustpilot rates Tattvam 2.9 out of 5 on a file of six reviews, split exactly in half: 50% five star and 50% one star, with nothing in between.
  • The profile has been claimed since March 2025 and Tattvam replies to roughly a third of its negative reviews, usually within a week, which is more engagement than most brokers at this level offer.
  • Six reviews establish nothing on their own, but three of the complaints are specific.
  • One trader describes having a strategy approved by the broker and then being told scalping was prohibited, after being assured there were no hidden rules — a conflict between what support said and what the terms permitted.
  • Another questions whether the broker is properly licensed in the UAE; it is not, holds only the Mauritius FSC licence, and does not claim otherwise.
  • A third reports a withdrawal taking four days and criticises the platform.
  • Tattvam publishes no policy on scalping, news trading or expert advisors on its public pages, which is the gap the first complaint points at.

Tattvam Markets accepts clients from 29 of the countries we checked and does not accept 3. Restricted: United States, Iran, Russia.

One licence, in Mauritius, and a Dubai address that is not one

Tattvam is refreshingly simple on the entity question. Tattvam Capital Markets Ltd is authorised by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission as an Investment Dealer under licence 183299GBC, registered at The Cyberati Lounge in Ebene, and that is the only regulatory permission claimed anywhere on the site. There is no chain of sister companies, no offshore holding entity and no second brand. For a reader used to untangling four-company structures, that is a real advantage: you know who your counterparty is without hunting for it.

What sits beside it needs reading carefully. Tattvam also lists an office at 5002-5003, 50th Floor, Aspin Commercial Tower, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai — described on the about page as a business address. No UAE licence number appears with it, and no Securities and Commodities Authority permission is claimed. That matters because Dubai addresses are routinely used in this sector to imply Emirates regulation that does not exist. To Tattvam's credit it does not make that claim; but a client in the Gulf should understand that the Dubai floor is an office, and the regulator behind the account is in Mauritius, with no investor compensation scheme and no ombudsman.

The swap-free account that stops being swap-free

Tattvam's account table sets out swap treatment per tier, and the middle tier is the one that needs attention. Bronze is listed as a "Swap Account" — ordinary overnight financing. Gold is listed as a "Pro Swap Account". Silver, the tier marked most popular, is listed as "Swap Free up to 10 days". That qualifier is doing a great deal of work.

A swap-free account exists because some traders cannot pay or receive interest. A grace period of ten days does not meet that need; it defers it. Hold a position into the eleventh day and the account behaves like any other. For a swing trader that is a real constraint, and for a trader who needs swap-free terms for religious reasons it may not be a usable product at all. None of this is concealed — it is printed in the specification table — but it is printed as a qualifier on a headline benefit, and it is the single most important thing to understand before funding a Silver account. Ask support in writing what happens to an open position on day eleven.

Three tiers, 1:2000, and a 20% stop-out

Bronze opens at $275 with spreads from 1.6 pips and no commission. Silver opens at $750 from 1.3 pips, also commission-free. Gold opens at $2,000 with spreads from 0.1 pips and a $3.50 commission. All three carry a maximum leverage of 1:2000 and a stop-out level of 20%, and all three reach the same instrument list in AED or USD. Gold is the one worth having: 0.1 pips plus $3.50 is a genuinely competitive all-in cost and a $2,000 gate is low for that pricing, well below the $10,000 and $25,000 that comparable brokers charge for raw spreads.

The leverage is the part to treat carefully. Offering 1:2000 on a $275 account is not a feature, it is a hazard: at that ratio a position uses margin equal to 0.05% of its notional value, so a move of a few pips against a fully-leveraged trade takes the account to the 20% stop-out. Publishing the stop-out at all is better practice than most of this group manages, and 20% is a reasonable level. But the sensible way to use this broker is to ignore the 1:2000 headline entirely and size positions as if the cap were a fraction of it.

Platform, markets and what gets published

MetaTrader 5 on desktop and mobile, with more than 400 instruments across forex, gold, indices, commodities and both UAE and US equities. The UAE equity coverage is unusual at this size and fits the Gulf focus; there is no proprietary platform, no cTrader and no TradingView integration. Accounts are denominated in AED or USD, and support is advertised as 24/5 across all tiers.

The disclosure is mixed. Account specifications are unusually complete — minimum deposits, starting spreads, commission, leverage, swap treatment and stop-out level for every tier. The awards are cited properly, with both the title and the awarding body: Best Online Broker (MENA) at BrokersView Expo Abu Dhabi 2024 and Best Liquidity Provider at BrokersView Expo Dubai 2024. Against that, there is no support email address, no telephone number, no founding year, no deposit or withdrawal method list, no fees and no processing times anywhere on the site, and the supported languages are described only as "multilingual".

Six reviews, split down the middle

Trustpilot gives Tattvam 2.9 out of 5, and the file behind it is six reviews: three five star and three one star, with nothing in between. The profile was claimed in March 2025 and Tattvam replies to about a third of its negative reviews, typically within a week, which is more engagement than most brokers in this group offer. Six reviews cannot establish anything, and this review does not treat them as if they could.

Two of the complaints are worth reading anyway because they are specific and checkable. One trader describes having a strategy approved by the broker and then being told scalping was prohibited, after being assured there were no hidden rules — a conflict between what support said and what the terms allowed. Another questions whether the broker is properly licensed in the UAE, which this review can answer: it is not, and it does not claim to be. A third mentions a withdrawal taking four days. None of these are disqualifying on their own, but the scalping one points at exactly the gap a short-term trader should close in writing before depositing.

Who it is for

Tattvam fits a Gulf-based swing or position trader who wants MetaTrader 5 with UAE and US equity CFDs alongside forex and gold, who can fund the $2,000 Gold tier where the pricing is actually good, and who is content with a single Mauritius Investment Dealer standing behind the account. On the things it does publish — per-tier specifications, a stop-out level, properly attributed awards, real social accounts — it is more forthcoming than most of the brokers reviewed alongside it.

It does not fit a trader who needs genuine swap-free terms, because the ten-day limit means the Silver account stops being swap-free exactly when a longer-term position needs it most. It does not fit a scalper or an EA user without written confirmation that the strategy is allowed. And the $275 entry account, paying 1.6 pips with 1:2000 available, is the worst combination on offer here. Take Gold or take nothing, size as though the leverage cap were 1:100, and get the swap and scalping rules in writing first.

Tattvam Markets

Before you apply

One company, one licence: Tattvam Capital Markets Ltd holds Mauritius FSC Investment Dealer licence 183299GBC, and that is the only regulatory permission Tattvam claims anywhere. The Dubai address on the site is described as a business address and carries no UAE licence number — there is no SCA or other Emirates permission behind it. If you need swap-free terms, read the account table before you deposit: swap-free on the Silver tier is described as "Swap Free up to 10 days", which is a grace period rather than a permanent status, and the Gold tier is labelled "Pro Swap" rather than swap-free.

  1. 1.

Check the restricted list first — it is long

Tattvam does not serve residents of twenty-four jurisdictions, including Iran, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, Russia and the United States. The list is published in full on the about page. If you are in any of them, stop here.

  2. 2.

Understand what the Dubai address is and is not

Tattvam lists an office on the 50th floor of Aspin Commercial Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road and claims no UAE licence to go with it. Your counterparty is Tattvam Capital Markets Ltd in Mauritius under FSC licence 183299GBC. A Dubai business address is not Dubai regulation.

  3. 3.

If you need swap-free, read the ten-day limit

Silver is the tier that advertises swap-free, and the account table qualifies it as "Swap Free up to 10 days". A position held longer than that starts accruing swaps. Bronze is a standard swap account and Gold is labelled "Pro Swap". Ask support in writing what happens on day eleven before you commit.

  4. 4.

Pick the tier on the spread, not the headline leverage

All three tiers offer the same 1:2000 maximum leverage, so that is not the differentiator. Bronze opens at $275 with spreads from 1.6 pips, Silver at $750 from 1.3 pips, and Gold at $2,000 from 0.1 pips with a $3.50 commission. Gold is the only tier priced like a serious account.

  5. 5.

Get the scalping rules in writing before you trade

A Trustpilot reviewer describes having a strategy approved and then being told scalping was prohibited, despite the broker stating it had no hidden rules. If your strategy involves short holds, news trading or an EA, get explicit written confirmation that it is permitted, and keep it.

Good to know before you start

Why you have to verify your identity

Why you have to verify your identity

Every regulated broker and exchange must confirm who you are before you can trade or withdraw. Expect to upload a passport or national ID and a proof of address under three months old (utility bill or bank statement). Most platforms approve documents within a few hours; a mismatch between your ID and the name on your payment method is the most common reason for delays.

How funding your account works

How funding your account works

Deposits by card or e-wallet usually land within minutes; bank wires take one to three business days and may carry a fee from your bank. Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, which is an anti-money-laundering rule rather than a platform choice. Start with the minimum, confirm a small withdrawal works, then scale up.

What to expect on your first trade

What to expect on your first trade

Open a demo account first if the platform offers one, then place a small live trade on a liquid market such as EUR/USD or BTC/USD. Check the spread, the commission and the swap before you confirm. Set a stop-loss on every position — losing a small amount quickly is the cheapest lesson in trading.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tattvam Markets regulated?

Yes, in Mauritius and nowhere else. Tattvam Capital Markets Ltd holds Financial Services Commission Investment Dealer licence 183299GBC, and that is the only regulatory permission claimed on the site. The Dubai office on Sheikh Zayed Road is listed as a business address with no UAE licence number attached, and Tattvam makes no Securities and Commodities Authority claim.

Is Tattvam's swap-free account really swap-free?

Only for ten days. The Silver tier is the one advertised as swap-free and the account specification qualifies it as "Swap Free up to 10 days", so a position held beyond that starts accruing swaps. Bronze is a standard swap account and Gold is described as a "Pro Swap Account". If you need permanent swap-free terms, confirm in writing what happens on day eleven before you deposit.

What is Tattvam's minimum deposit?

$275 on Bronze, $750 on Silver and $2,000 on Gold. Bronze offers spreads from 1.6 pips with no commission, Silver from 1.3 pips with no commission, and Gold from 0.1 pips with a $3.50 commission. All three carry maximum leverage of 1:2000 and a 20% stop-out, and accounts are held in AED or USD.

Does Tattvam accept traders from Iran?

No. Iran is on Tattvam's published restricted list, alongside American Samoa, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cuba, Côte d'Ivoire, Eritrea, Guam, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Puerto Rico, Russia, Somalia, Syria, the United States and the US Virgin Islands, among others.

Is 1:2000 leverage safe on a $275 account?

It is the riskiest setting Tattvam offers and there is no reason to use it. At 1:2000 a position needs margin of only 0.05% of its notional value, so a move of a few pips against a fully-leveraged trade reaches the 20% stop-out. Tattvam publishes that stop-out level, which is better practice than most of its peers, but the sensible approach is to size positions as if the cap were far lower.

Can I scalp or use an EA with Tattvam?

Get it in writing first. A Trustpilot reviewer describes having a strategy approved and then being told scalping was prohibited, despite being assured there were no hidden rules. Tattvam's public pages do not set out its policy on scalping, news trading or expert advisors, so ask support for explicit written confirmation covering your strategy and keep the reply.
