Regulation and safety of funds

AMarkets operates through three separate legal entities rather than a single regulated group: AMarkets LTD is registered in Mwali, Comoros under the Mwali International Services Authority (license T2023284); AMarkets LLC is registered in the Cook Islands (LLC14486/2023) under that jurisdiction's Financial Supervisory Commission; and AMarkets LTD is also registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (22567 BC 2015) under the Financial Services Authority.

None of these bodies function as a strict financial conduct regulator in the way the FCA, ASIC, or CySEC do — they are closer to offshore company registries with light oversight. AMarkets is a certified member of The Financial Commission, an independent dispute resolution body, which gives clients access to a compensation fund of up to €20,000 per claim if a dispute is ruled in their favor. That membership is a genuine layer of protection, but it is not the same as regulatory supervision, deposit insurance, or a government-backed compensation scheme.

Fees and spreads

AMarkets offers three account types. The Standard account needs a $100 minimum deposit, has floating spreads from 1.3 pips, and charges no commission on forex or metals trades. The ECN account needs $200 minimum, has spreads from 0.2 pips, and charges $2.50 per lot per side. The Zero account also needs $200 minimum, advertises spreads from 0 pips on majors and metals "90% of the time," and charges $5.50 per lot per side.

Leverage goes up to 1:3000 across all account types, far beyond the 1:30 or 1:500 caps common at regulated brokers. That leverage can amplify both gains and losses quickly, and traders new to leveraged products should treat it with caution. AMarkets reports no account maintenance or inactivity fees, and deposits are free regardless of method.

Platforms and tools

AMarkets runs on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 only, available as desktop downloads for Windows and Mac, as a browser-based WebTrader for both platforms, and as a mobile app for iOS and Android. There is no cTrader or TradingView integration, so traders who prefer those platforms will need to look elsewhere.

Beyond the standard MetaTrader toolset, AMarkets offers a Copy Trading service with separate interfaces for investors (who follow other traders) and traders (who let others copy their positions), plus a copy trading rating system to help investors compare strategies. The broker lists over 550 tradable instruments across forex, stocks, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrencies.

Deposits and withdrawals

AMarkets accepts bank transfers, debit and credit cards, and a set of regional and e-wallet payment methods that vary by country — the exact list is shown inside each client's Personal Area after verification. Deposits are processed instantly and the broker charges no deposit fees at all.

Withdrawals are paid back to the same account or card used for the deposit; AMarkets does not support sending withdrawals to a different, unverified account. Trustpilot reviews mention occasional withdrawal delays and, in at least one documented case, a customer needing to escalate before a blocked withdrawal was resolved through an alternative payment channel. Most reviewers describe deposit and withdrawal processing as fast, but the offshore regulatory structure means there's less external recourse if a dispute goes unresolved.

Customer support

Customer support is available 24/7 by email at support@amarkets.com, alongside a Telegram support bot. Most other departments — dealing, finance, legal, HR, and partnerships — keep standard Monday-to-Friday office hours (09:00-18:00 GMT+3). The company lists a general phone line plus separate regional numbers for the Cook Islands, Panama, Turkey, Ukraine, and several other countries.

Trustpilot shows a 4.8-out-of-5 rating from several thousand reviews, with most praising fast responses and helpful staff. The recurring complaints involve withdrawal delays, having to repeat information across support tickets, and slower follow-up once an account is flagged or blocked — issues worth weighing against the generally positive average.

Who is it for

AMarkets is built primarily for retail traders in the CIS, MENA, and other emerging markets where it maintains localized websites in languages including Arabic, Turkish, Ukrainian, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. It suits traders who want very high leverage, a wide range of crypto CFDs, and low-friction, fee-free deposits, and who are comfortable trading with a broker that has offshore registrations rather than tier-1 regulatory oversight.

It is not a fit for traders in the US, UK, or EU/EEA, who are excluded outright, nor for anyone who specifically wants FCA-, ASIC-, or CySEC-level protections, strict leverage caps, or a regulated compensation scheme backed by a government authority.

How to open an accountAMarkets

Before you apply

Signup asks only for name, email, phone, and preferred platform; you must accept the Customer Agreement, Privacy Policy, and AML Policy. Identity verification happens afterward in the client Personal Area and is required before withdrawing funds. A demo account is available without verification.

  1. 1

    Pick an account type

Choose Standard ($100 minimum), ECN ($200 minimum), or Zero ($200 minimum) depending on whether you want commission-free spreads or tighter raw spreads with a per-lot commission. Any of the three can be opened as a swap-free Islamic account.

  2. 2

    Register

Fill in your name, email, and phone number on the AMarkets signup form, select your platform (MT4 or MT5), and agree to the Customer Agreement, Privacy Policy, and AML Policy.

  3. 3

    Verify your identity

Log into your Personal Area to complete identity verification. Verification is required before you can withdraw funds, even though it isn't required to open a demo account.

  4. 4

    Fund your account

Deposit by bank transfer, debit/credit card, or one of the regional and e-wallet options shown in your Personal Area. AMarkets charges 0% commission on all deposits.

  5. 5

    Trade or copy trade

Download MT4 or MT5 for desktop or mobile, or use WebTrader in your browser. Alternatively, use the Copy Trading service to follow other traders' strategies instead of placing trades yourself.

Good to know before you start

Why you have to verify your identity

Why you have to verify your identity

Every regulated broker and exchange must confirm who you are before you can trade or withdraw. Expect to upload a passport or national ID and a proof of address under three months old (utility bill or bank statement). Most platforms approve documents within a few hours; a mismatch between your ID and the name on your payment method is the most common reason for delays.

How funding your account works

How funding your account works

Deposits by card or e-wallet usually land within minutes; bank wires take one to three business days and may carry a fee from your bank. Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, which is an anti-money-laundering rule rather than a platform choice. Start with the minimum, confirm a small withdrawal works, then scale up.

What to expect on your first trade

What to expect on your first trade

Open a demo account first if the platform offers one, then place a small live trade on a liquid market such as EUR/USD or BTC/USD. Check the spread, the commission and the swap before you confirm. Set a stop-loss on every position — losing a small amount quickly is the cheapest lesson in trading.

What clients complain about

AMarkets holds a strong 4.8-out-of-5 Trustpilot score from a large review volume, with most reviewers praising fast deposit processing and responsive support. The recurring complaints among the minority of negative reviews involve withdrawal delays paired with slow or repetitive support communication, difficulty resolving account-access issues, and unexpected automatic leverage reductions applied without what reviewers considered adequate advance notice.

Frequently asked questions

Is AMarkets regulated?

AMarkets is registered through three offshore entities: in Comoros (Mwali International Services Authority, license T2023284), the Cook Islands (Financial Supervisory Commission, LLC14486/2023), and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Financial Services Authority, 22567 BC 2015). None of these is a top-tier regulator like the FCA or ASIC. AMarkets is also a certified member of The Financial Commission, which provides dispute resolution and a compensation fund of up to €20,000 per claim.

What is the minimum deposit at AMarkets?

The Standard account requires a $100 minimum deposit. The ECN and Zero accounts both require $200.

What leverage does AMarkets offer?

Leverage goes up to 1:3000 on all account types. This is far higher than what regulated brokers in the US, UK, or EU can offer, and it significantly increases risk.

Which trading platforms does AMarkets support?

MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 only, available as desktop apps, browser-based WebTrader, and mobile apps for iOS and Android. AMarkets does not offer cTrader or TradingView.

Does AMarkets offer an Islamic (swap-free) account?

Yes. A swap-free Islamic option can be added to any of the three account types — Standard, ECN, or Zero.

Can traders in the US, UK, or EU open an AMarkets account?

No. AMarkets states it does not provide services to residents of the United States, United Kingdom, or EU/EEA countries.

Does AMarkets charge deposit or withdrawal fees?

Deposits are free regardless of method. Withdrawal fees can apply depending on the payment method used, and withdrawals are returned to the same account or card that funded the deposit.
